I've always wanted to grow up to be Bette Midler. The closest I could get is Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus.

Makeup & hair tutorial and more pictures to follow.

Thanks for reading!

I wore this look to welcome my dad and stepmom to Atlanta. I hadn't seen either of them in over three years, so I didn't want to scare them away with anything too crazy. This is my "I'm glowing and adult-like; fawn over me" face. Products used and tips after the jump.
I used the Urban Decay Naked2 Basics palette pretty heavily in this look.
I've never had to stay in a hospital overnight before, and I was in three days total for a hysterectomy due to endometriosis. I wasn't allowed to shower for the first two days, because of the incision and not being able to really walk. I made sure I had plenty of lotion and cleansers and easy to grab things to keep myself feeling clean during my stay.

Keep reading after the jump for a list and reviews of what I used while I was recovering in the hospital. Pictures coming soon once I can get out of my bed!

Lately I've been stuck on Vichy skincare. I've got extremely dry skin, and Vichy claims to be made with special spring water from Vichy, France. I don't know if it's the French water in it that makes this stuff magic, but there's something in there.

I'll post a more in depth review after the break.
